Fibrous material that helps bridge fractures and permeable zones to reduce drilling-fluid losses.
Fibrous Lost-Circulation Material is used where fluid escapes into fractured or coarse porous formations. Mixed fiber lengths create a mechanical network that helps other solids bridge the opening.
Select a grade compatible with pump, nozzle and downhole-tool clearances. Heavy additions without understanding the loss zone can increase plugging risk.
